  • The ability to produce a consistently high standard of finished painted parts.

Pay rates are negotiable depending on experience.

Applications Engineer

Overall purpose of the job:

Provide application and technical advice to customers, technology partners, and internal colleagues on a range of waste applications and processing equipment.  

Reporting to:  Technical Sales Lead

 

Key activities:

  • Gathering relevant data for each project including material composition and site information
  • Understanding customer requirements and developing detailed solutions including process flows and plant layouts.
  • Assisting the Sales function with technical presentations to customers
  • Liaising with technology partners with a view to integrating technology into the Kiverco solution.
  • Establishing the specific requirements of the customer and gather all relevant information to enable a plant layout drawing to be accurately drawn.
  • Agree the plant layout internally with the Sales team customer before progressing the project to quotation stage.
  • Work with other internal departments at every stage of the process to maintain a competent and professional approach.
  • Build long lasting and productive relationships with key contacts in the waste industry including waste experts and technology partners.
  • Achieve weekly KPIs and record same for weekly meetings.
  • Perform the role in accordance with Kiverco policies and procedures.
  • To perform any other duties as may be reasonably be required from time-to-time.

 

Criteria required

  • A Higher National Certificate (HNC) or better in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in process design
  • An ability with CAD systems, preferably Solidworks or equivalent
  • Experience and capability with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
  • Experience in presentation applications such as Prezi or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience in using a CRM system is desirable
  • You will demonstrate a strong degree of commercial acumen to foster and grow client relationships.
  • The successful applications engineer will be able to mix a strong technical foundation with excellent interpersonal and extensive engineering experience.
  • A real team player with an honest, dependable, and supportive nature.
  • A can-do attitude.

Overall purpose of the job:

To provide accurate administrative support to the Sales and Marketing department.

 

Key activities:

  • Support the collection and maintenance of the company's corporate database ensuring that the database is compliant with current GDPR requirements. This will include qualifying leads and redirecting these leads to the appropriate sales representative and managing CRM (HubSpot) information.
  • Arrange meetings and manage diaries
  • Assist in arranging, organising exhibition displays and major launch activities as required in order to support and develop the sales strategy.
  • Supporting the sales team to carry out their role effectively. This will include helping with flights, accommodation, visas and any marketing material they may need.
  • Maintaining stock inventory and ordering supplies.
  • Any other duties as directed by the General Manager
  • Perform the role in accordance with Kiverco policies and procedures.
  • To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required from time-to-time.

 

Criteria required

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration role
  • 5+ GCSE Grades A – C including Maths and English Language
  • Competent in use of MS Office and graphic design applications e.g. Adobe Suite
  • First class communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to work on a diverse set of projects at one time, prioritising and producing high quality work to strict deadlines

Summary of role:

Kiverco has enjoyed recent success exporting into new markets and we now wish to explore further international market opportunities. This is an exciting new role within the business that allows the successful candidate to identify these opportunities and progress them with the help of experienced members of the Kiverco team. The role will allow you to learn how international business is carried out from research through to contract closure and present a career opportunity following successful completion of the 18-month placement.

 

*The person appointed will undertake a fully funded Post Graduate Diploma in International Marketing with Ulster University

 

Essential and desirable criteria

Applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

  • Pass degree in any discipline achieved within the last 5 years
  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience working in a sales or marketing environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of databases and accurately recording information
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outgoing and engaging by nature and not deterred by challenges
  • Willing to relocate outside of Northern Ireland for 12 months and have relevant language skills for this relocation
  • Have pre-existing legal status to live and work in Northern Ireland and Europe

Preference may be given to applicants who meet some of the criteria below:

  • Degree in a business or marketing related discipline
  • French language skills – written and verbal
  • At least 12 months experience dealing with customers either face-face or over the phone
  • Experience working within the heavy equipment/engineering sector
  • Experience creating e-shots and email marketing platforms such as MailChimp
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in another language (other than French)

Materials Handler

What are we looking for?

Kiverco are looking for a self-motivated and professional Materials Handler to join our Goods In Department. If you are a hardworking individual who can complete tasks successfully with little to no supervision, then we are interested in you.

In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate must be physically fit. You will have experience in operating a counter balance forklift.  Knowledge of operating overhead cranes would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a demanding and growing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient and timely handling of all materials
  • Support Production and After Sales through timely and accurate delivery of parts
  • Use of forklift in a safe and efficient manner
  • Processing of parts received to both Production and Stores
  • Prompt and accurate control of paperwork
  • Loading and unloading of materials deliveries
  • Compliance with inventory control measures
  • Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
  • Following standard work procedures
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment in a similar role
  • Valid forklift licence, preferably counterbalance
  • IT literate - previous experience of MRP style system would be advantageous
