Construction & Demolition Waste

Designed by Kiverco and built with backbone, to perform in the harshest of conditions.

Maximising value from Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste

Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste consists of debris generated during the construction, renovation and demolition of buildings, roads, and bridges. This means that a C&D waste stream contains a high percentage of bricks, concrete and wood.

The Kiverco C&D Waste Solution.

In this heavy waste environment, absolute confidence that your plant will withstand difficult conditions and any environmental circumstances is vital. With our robust design and solid build, you can be sure that your plant will not let you down. We will deliver on the agreed and required throughput and recovery targets and will drive your operation day and night.

Kiverco plants divert C&D waste from landfill, separating it into materials such as wood, metal, clean stone, paper and plastic at the lowest possible operating cost.

We have designed and built over 150 C & D plants for customers across the world. This is the environment Kiverco started working in 20 years ago. If anybody knows how to build robust and solid plant for the C&D industry – Kiverco does.

Robust design and engineering with maximum material recovery

Kiverco Construction and Demolition Waste MRFs combine manual as well as automated sorting with the latest in screen, air and metal separation technology. This allows operators to efficiently separate and sort a wide variety of material types, greatly reducing the amount of material going to landfill.

What products can be recovered?

C&D products which can be recovered include aggregates, brick, tiles, soil, concrete, metals, plastics, plasterboard, cables & wires, paper, card and wood.

Where do the recovered products go?

C&D products are normally transferred for onward closed loop recycling, land restoration, secondary aggregates production, RDF fuel production and biomass incineration.
