Our dealer conference and demo days were a great success with the launch of the exciting, new Compact Plant range. The event, which was well attended by the majority of our European dealers, began at the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown on Wednesday, with presentations from the sales and marketing team highlighting key details of the compact plant. The afternoon and subsequent days consisted of factory tours and demonstrations where dealers got a chance to see the machines up close and watch them hard at work, processing waste material.

The Importance of Customer Care at Kiverco

Last month, Recycling Waste World magazine paid a visit to Grist Environmental where they are processing waste through a Kiverco plant.

Kiverco recently supplied Grist Environmental with a screener on the front end, a picking station and a fines treatment section. When asked why he had opted for Kiverco, Nigel Grist says, We looked at a lot of machines when it came to installing the kit and it is important of course that the machinery is robust and the quality of build is good, but we decided that the back-up service is just as important – in fact it is more important.”

Marcus McAlinden, Kiverco’s area sales manager, is Grist’s first point of contact with the manufacturer and is a regular visitor to the Wiltshire-based MRF.

A Trommel – the name is taken from the German for Drum – is, put simply, a perforated and rotating cylinder used to separate material by size.
