Materials Handler

What are we looking for?

Kiverco are looking for a self-motivated and professional Materials Handler to join our Goods In Department. If you are a hardworking individual who can complete tasks successfully with little to no supervision, then we are interested in you.

In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate must be physically fit. You will have experience in operating a counter balance forklift.  Knowledge of operating overhead cranes would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a demanding and growing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient and timely handling of all materials
  • Support Production and After Sales through timely and accurate delivery of parts
  • Use of forklift in a safe and efficient manner
  • Processing of parts received to both Production and Stores
  • Prompt and accurate control of paperwork
  • Loading and unloading of materials deliveries
  • Compliance with inventory control measures
  • Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
  • Following standard work procedures
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment in a similar role
  • Valid forklift licence, preferably counterbalance
  • IT literate - previous experience of MRP style system would be advantageous
  • Educated to GCSE standard
  • Understanding of Inventory Control Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Self-motivation and initiative

  • Minimum 3 Years welding experience
  • Ability to read Engineering drawings & to fabricate assemblies for welding
  • Time keeping / Attendance must be very good & a good standard of English is required

Senior Design Engineer

What are we looking for?

We are currently looking for an innovative, creative and practically minded Senior Design Engineer with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will be joining an experienced and committed team in a company focused on delivering high quality products with excellent customer service. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a well-established engineering team to design and develop the Company’s range of products and static projects to meet customer’s changing demands and requirements.

Essential Criteria:

  • A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline with 5 years related design /development work experience preferably in the Recycling or Quarry and Heavy plant sector
    OR
    HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline (or equivalent) along with minimum of 5 years related work experience in the Recycling or Quarry and Heavy plant sector
  • Highly proficient user of 3D Solidworks
  • Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Competent with Microsoft Office packages

Desirable Criteria:

  • Familiar with Product Data Management system (PDM)
  • Knowledge of Structural steel design
  • Knowledge of hydraulic/electric systems

Quality Controller / Engineer

Kiverco specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke recycling systems which we supply to our customers globally. As a Quality Controller/ Engineer at Kiverco your role is an integral part of a team whose aim is to maintain and build on our reputation for providing our customers with extremely high quality plant and excellent customer service.

Reporting to the Production Manager

Key Duties

  • Carrying out internal inspections at all stages of WIP and Finished Goods to customer specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests and communicating effectively any required adjustments or discrepancies
  • Liaising with Management, Engineering & operatives daily to ensure continued high quality standards.
  • Reporting any problems to the Production Manager and Engineering Manager and be part of the team who will find solutions and help drive continuous improvement
  • Creating and maintaining SOPs and ensuring these are clear and understood by all
  • Control of records, internal audits, procedures and investigations and keeping these up to date at all times
  • Monitor and report compliance to internal quality system
  • Keeps measurement equipment operational at all times

 

Key Skills Required:

  • 3rd level qualification within an Engineering / Manufacturing environment. However, consideration will also be given to someone who has relevant experience without the qualification
  • At least 1 years' experience working in a quality control environment
  • Flexible hands on approach
  • Experience with ISO9001
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about quality
